I met Martin 7 years ago when we were both new hires for Office Depot and attending training in Florida. I remember Marting as being a fun-loving guy with a terrific sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and getting to know him. This past February Office Depot held a national sales meeting for the first time in 5 years. (they had been holding regional meetings prior to that). I was so excited that that we would be getting together on a national level, as it meant that I would be able to see Martin again and catch up with him...and it was great! It was great seeing him and catching up. We laughed about experiences that we had shared during training and he also shared new stories of his life with me. Martin was a good man and he will be sorely missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have met him. My heart and prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers. I am truly sorry for your loss and was so saddened to hear of his passing.
I was so sorry to hear about Martin. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If you need anything, please let me know.

Mr & Mrs Crane, I am so sorry for your loss. Martin was a great person and he was part of a wonderful loving family that I was blessed to grow up with and know.
I just learned of your family's loss, and I am so very sad for you all. Actually, I recall seeing the article in the newspaper last week, but, not recognizing his name, I did not read it thoroughly to see that he was your brother. I was drawn to his picture because of how very nice looking he was. Now, having read the complete article, I notice how much he was surrounded by a very large, loving family, who will, no doubt, be a comfort to each other. Again, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
Linda & Fred Hornsby

Martin was not only a co-worker but also a true friend. I find it so difficult to say goodbye to a man who always made me laugh, held me up when I felt brokendown and encouraged me to get over my fear of sailing so that we could finally take that afternoon trip on his sailboat!

Those of us who truly knew you, saw that in you all along! My thoughts and prayers are with your family, in this most difficult time. I will never truly understand why your life was cut short but I find peace in your words at our last meeting in Atlanta, that your life was finally all you wanted it to be and that you were closer with your family than ever before! You have a higher calling now and we must all find the peace in that... I will miss you my friend, but our memories will live on in my heart forever!

The last time I saw Martin we went to The Beau to see Robert Plant. I remember how happy Martin was when he called me and found out that I had automatically purchased a ticket for him. Martin, Steven French, Hal Bishop and I attended many classic rock & roll concerts together. I clearly remember the many concerts we attended in New Orleans and Pesacola. Martin was a very good guitar player and we spent many hours listening to Martin explain how each song was played. I know Martin is now in Heaven with Steven French and other friends of ours and they are having fun together. I will miss Martin very much. To the entire Crane family I am very sorry for your loss.
