I think Gen. Schwarazkopf was a great soldier. We truly do need more people like him leading our troops. Condolences to his family.

May you rest in peace,General. To the family of the General, thank you for sharing him with us and may your memories sustain you through this difficult time. God's blessings on you and your family. My father was a WW2 vet and was very proud of every veteran who served and was impressed by the General's way of making sure the grunts got credit for what happened.

RIP General. I am proud to have served under you in 2/2 Cav. You took us into the heart of the desert, and back out. Your brilliant leadership brought this (then) young corporal home.

A true warrior and commander, you have a place at Valhalla and Fiddlers Green. You have earned your rest, troop.

He was my hero. I enjoyed reading his autobiography many years ago, and respected him not only for the service he did for our country, but as the truly honorable person he was. RIP General
