When I pass, I hope someone pays tribute to me in the wonderful manner in which you have celebrated Mr. Stamps. May your memories see you through this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Stamps passing. I only had the pleasure of knowing him through Mrs. Stamps stories in Home Ec in the early 90s. So very sorry for your loss, but it's obvious that his memory will live on worldwide!! Rest in Peace!!

I wish I had known you, Harry.

To the Stamps family, So sorry for your loss. I took a class from Harry at the Junior college, but my most precious memories are having his daughter, Alison in my girl scout troop. Thanks for sharing her with our troop. She was such a delight and thanks to Harry and to Ann for their support and help with our troop. It has been great for me to watch them begin to raise families of their own. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ann and family, Gary and I send our love and prayers. Harry was such a "dandy" man. His humor and intellect will long be remembered.
Much love, Dianne(Ducote) and Gary Garvey

I didn't know Mr. Stamps, but enjoyed the beautiful tribute. It made me smile. I, too, hate Daylight Savings Time and will be writing my Congressman in his honor.

And to think I moved because I thought Long Beach was boring...
The song "I'm Just Wild About Harry" comes to mind. How lucky was his family...

I would just like to say that I wish i had gotten to know Mr. Stamps. If he was half as entertaining as his obituary, I would have treasured every moment with him. Thanks to whoever took the time and loving care to write this.

Found Mr. Stamps' obituary on SLATE - brilliant piece about a brilliant man.
