Mrs. Stamps, I am so sorry for your loss. I not only had you as a teacher at Pass High but had the pleasure of being in Mr. Stamps Sociology class at J.D. I must say that you and he were and are the best of the best. You and your family are in my prayers

So sad to hear of Mr. Stamps passing. He was a favorite teacher of mine in the late 70's at JD.

I was in Mr. Stamps Sociology class at JD in the late 70's. I remember him well. My class was right before lunch, and every day, he told us in great detail, exactly what he was going to eat for lunch! He was a great teacher, and made the class very interesting. Heaven has gained a gem!

I was so sorry to read of Mr. Stamps passing. I was a student of his in the mid-seventies and must admit, he was by far my favorite college teacher. He knew his material well, and made learning fun. I always looked forward to his class! RIP Mr. Stamps.

Dearest Ann, Amanda, and Alison,
Please be assured of our love and prayers for you during these difficult days. We have many pleasant memories of times spent with your family. We cherish the memories of Amanda as she visited our home with Matt and his friends. We had to keep those brownies and snacks flowing! (my pleasure) Also, what a great wedding breakfast you hosted for Matt and Erin on their wedding day. I know Harry used his wonderful culinary skills for that. It was delicious! Wish we could be there today to give you all a big hug! Love, Lillian and Prentice Carte

My Aunt who reads the sun herald spoke to me about this obituary and how well written it was and how much it reminded her of my grandfather. I'm very sorry for your loss. He sounded like a wonderful man and whoever wrote this spoke the truth about a man which is very refreshing. Thank you for your time. Once again I am deeply sorry for your loss.
