I never knew Ronnie personally, but when I went to the Harrison Central vs Gulfport games he was always there and I problably watched him root Gulfport Admirals on more than I watched the game.

Ronnie will be missed at Harrison Central too. We may have always been the "enemy", but we recognize and respect the loyalty and commitment Ronnie had shown "his" Gulfport Admirals. His death is a loss for everyone on the coast.

I first knew of Ronnie when I attended Biloxi High in the 70's. He supported Gulfport then as a Commodore. I knew him again when I began coaching. He was always around. Very knowledgeable of sports. He will truly be missed.

Ronnie, you will be greatly missed by not only all the Gulfport athletic family that you touched but also by the many opposing athletic teams that you so warmly welcomed at all the events. It meant a lot to speak with you at the various locales; however, it meant even more that you went out of your way for me - Joe Gex, former coach at St. Stanislaus.

Ronnie,

I have had the pleasure of knowing you since I was a little, little girl. You were my buddy at some of the football/ basketball games, as I recall, and as I got older you always greeted me with a smile and a hug and would congratulate me on a softball win or would tell me hi as I cheered among the sidelines at football and basketball games. Your spirit will be forever remembered at GHS sporting events and I know my family and I will miss you very much! God bless! C/O 97

Ronnie, I will never forget the true joy you brought to the faces of students and parents all along this gulf coast. Thank you for your true spirit and love that you have provided to this community for years. The greatest team member and fan who ever lived. Thanks
