I will never forget hearing him yell out on every foul ball, "get outta here ball"

I graduated from Gulfport High School in 1982 and was a basketball cheerleader. Ronnie was the biggest fan ever!! Since my dad was a coach and teacher for 42 years in the Gulfport School District I was very familiar with Ronnie. He even showed support for St. John High School when my father was there coaching. He will be sadly missed!!!!!! Forever in our hearts!!!!

There was NEVER a game that when Ronnie saw the tuba players stand up prepping to play "Go Mighty Admirals" that he did not wave that towel with number one held high in the sky! He was our first memory as GHS freshman band members and our final memory as senior band members playing that staple song in our final game as members of the band. And so,on this day...the tubas stand, the towel is waved, and our number ones are held high in the sky..."Go Mighty Ronnie!"

Always remember Ronnie is in the Sports heaven now, he's among the great players and has God as his coach, he will be sadly missed and rememebered by all.
