I first met Dave many years ago when I worked at the Treehouse in Hallandale. Then quite a number of years later, I met him when I was with my son Chris, who also loves to play guitar. Dave was such a genuine soul besides a great artist. Dave touched many hearts in his life in a positive and profound way. I'd say that's quite an accomplishment because not too many people get to do that. He will be missed dearly by myself and my son. RIP Dave Perdue.

My very sweet, ultra talented and special Nephew, David. Life is not the same without you. We shared our love of music and especially our love of our family. I still have the guitar you gave your cousin, Kimberly..I loved to jam with you. You taught me as much as I taught you about music and life. You now join your mother, Carolyn (my sister-in-law) and your father, John (my brother-in-law)and grandma, Mary and Poppa Hat. I love you and will always miss your smile, your talent and your love. R.I.P my dear nephew. Aunt Andy

Dave, my dear friend. You were such a delight to be around. Always smiling. Always kind and generous. Your God given talent on that guitar was our pleasure and privilege to witness. You had such an impact on so many of our lives that will stay with us for the rest of ours. I loved you then, love you still and will miss you forever!! Always in my heart!!
