To my friend Aggie Perdue and the family: I never met David, but after reading the many entries and wishes in this Guest Book, I can see he was a good soul with talent and generosity, and obviously had people who loved him. My heart goes out to all who need comfort and I am so sorry about this tragedy.

David's father and my mom were friends for a very long time. John told me that David played guitar. So I started taking lessons from him at a young age 13 I believe. I had a hard time reading music so he told me to play songs Every Saturday I would go to John p Purdue house and take a lesson with him for many years You would write upscales fast-forward and rewind songs that Asked to to learn to play. David you are great friend and teacher rest in peace. I plan to carry on the licks that you taught me for many years. My condolences to the family.
