Gail; May this candle give your father so that he can find his way in his new after life. May it give him the warmth to let him know how much you loved him.

We love you Grandpa Fred. You were a great man. Always had a smile on your face. We are gonna miss you so much but we will always carry you in our hearts everyday forever, until we all meet again. Rest in paradise.

We love you Fred and we miss you very much. You were like a father to us and you will live in our hearts forever.

Will miss you Uncle Fred. I'll always remember growing up hanging out at the lake on week-ends, your constant barrage of jokes, the summer I worked with you - watching you grab 90 pound bales of shingles and run up a ladder with them. And of course, your mastery of the s l o w crawl! Love you forever, your nephew Mike.

Daddy, you were the best father a girl could ever have!
You taught me to take care of myself, so I would always have someone I could count on.
You taught me that I could do anything that I put my mind to, then you set me free to try.
You taught me to be strong, even when it hurts...a lot!
You taught me that sheetrock can be cut and folded in half, as long as I don't tear the backing (an important lesson that proved useful many times!)
You taught me that protecting your family requires a strong backbone, and sometimes a 2x4!
But most of all, you taught me that a life well lived is a life worth living.
On January 3, at 1:55 am, I lost my hero.
On January 3, at 1:56 am, I felt the weight of your cape fall squarely on my shoulders.
I just hope I'm worthy, daddy.
