I am proud to kniw the Day family and thankful to Col. Day for his years of service and continued support of military families in being instrumental in getting Tricare fir Life estabished. My mother always spoke fondly of Bud and Doris Day. I always remember hus daughters with a smile on their face. You will be missed.

I had the honor of meeting Colonel Day at Eglin AFB as a firefighter in 1975. He was my hero from the get go. I have tried to live up to his expectation as a good man. He truly was!!! My condolences to the family. Deputy Fire Chief Ret. Jim Tuma

We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Dori and the family. It has been a true pleasure to have known Col. Day and Dori, the amazing gentleman will be missed. My God embrace him and know his is looking down on all the family and spreading his loving wings to watch over you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace Col Day and thank you for your military service. You are a true hero. God bless you and your loved ones. You have earned your Angel wings, FLY HIGH. Please watch over our son from heaven as he begins his Air Force career next week. Thank you.
