Pete, when I heard the news that it was you, I was beside myself. You were my rhinestone cowboy of Spirit, and one of the greatest Captains I have ever known. You always made me feel safe, and you knew how to ease my spirits. I hope that you, John, Ces, Al S., and the rest are up there in the heavens cracking jokes and having a barrel of laughs like the good old days at NK. You will always be missed and loved. So until we meet again...because this goodbye is NOT forever my friend. :-*

When I worked at Spirit, Pete was always one of my favorites. I am so sorry for this tragic loss. My condolences to his friends and family.

Peter my old friend - you've been taken away too too early. We grew up together and although at one point in time our paths separated, you were always in my thoughts. I was very proud of my pilot friend, hoping to see you again someday. Now that hope has been replaced by grief. I will always cherish my memories of you. I salute you Capt. Peter, and who knows - maybe we will meet after all in another lifetime.
