My Loving Husband,
Soon it will be a year since we lost you. With each passing moment, I try to move forward; I have no other choice. I will never get over losing you, and why should I? We had something beautiful. Reliving those memories is what sustains me. During this past year I have come across notes and poems you wrote to me for 47 years. This one I always carry in my wallet. "To my darling wife of 16 years, This rose was meant to grow from a small bud and to bloom with beauty, much like our love. But its life only partially parallels our love. For very soon a rose withers and dies, while our love will live forever. Love, Johnny"
Until we are together again. Mia Vita e Cuore, Honey
