My Name is Ross Stewart I am the Curator of a new museum at RAF Wethersfield I read with a smile from the American Patriot that Col Bud and Doris considered RAFW the best assignment. I wish I had met Col Bud, Doc Blanchard and other heroes of this Base. There are Displays for them and a Memorial Wall for those that died in service with the 20th.
I wish all to know Col Bud Day is remembered and honoured here at RAF Wethersfield. Maybe a member of his family will visit one day....

I wore your bracelet for several years while you were captive, I saw you walk off that plane bringing you home, I sent you the bracelet with your name on it. I am so proud to have seen you return, god bless you and your family. It saddens me to know your gone. [email protected]
