I just learned of Susan's passing as published in the Georgia Bar Journal August edition. I was a classmate of her's at Emory Law School. I did not know she was in Broward County (where I went to high school) nor that she had become a judge. The wonderful words of praise I have seen from so many come as no surprise to me- all of the sweet attributes noted by others were present throughout the years we were in school together from 1978-1981. My sincere condolences to her entire family and all those who were fortunate to have known her. Fred Chaiken, Atlanta, Ga.

I was assigned to Judge Aramony's courtroom in between 2000-2003 as a Guardian ad Litem Program attorney. Judge Aramony will be greatly missed, as she taught me a lot about courtroom decor in my early years as an attorney. Thereafter, she was very supportive of the BCBA-Young Lawyers' Section and attended many events while I was on the Board. I had a tremendous amount of respect for her and she will be missed by the legal community and all those who knew her.

I worked with Judge Aramony for over 6 years as her court deputy. I was her deputy and she was my Judge. It was truly an honor for me to work in her court room. My thoughts and prayers are with Nick and family. Bruce Hall

She made a difference in so many lives. She was involved in our child's life from the beginning in foster care until our adoption. I was hoping to share the success our daughter is today, only to learn of her passing.
