How sad I am to hear of Ted's death. I knew him as KG4NLW, his amateur radio callsign. We joked that NLW was short for "Never at a Loss for Words." I enjoyed his words for the first and last time on 18 May 2012 as we talked on our radios about being lawyers and ham radio operators. I will miss his melodious, thoughtful radio voice. Ted was a good politician; he beat me in the run for JP in 1951. A fine man, he will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him.

Uncle Ted... you have been an inspiration to me my entire life and have been someone that I have always had the utmost respect for. I will miss you but will always keep your memory alive in my heart as I know all of the family will. Words simply can not convey the emotions so I will simply say.... "May the road rise with you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Dear Ted,
It is with great sadness that I receive this news of the passing of your Dad. Having met him only a few times I can't say that I knew your Father well but I do know that apples rarely fall far from the tree and I can therefore say with confidence he must have been a good man. I'm deeply sorry for this huge loss for the entire Galatis family and please know that you and yours are in our thoughts and prayers as you walk this tough yet unavoidable transition.

Deepest Condolences,
The O'Brien Family

During my time working for Ted, Jr. I was privileged to know his Mom and Dad - both of whom made me feel a part of their "family". Ted, Sr. was a well respected and loved man who will be missed but will be in the hearts of many. My thoughts, love and prayers are with Ted, Liz and their family. Rest in peace.
