My condolences to the family and loved ones. Tonight I was sitting here searching for the Eivom series and learned of his passing. I recently relocated back to the Syracuse NY area. I just wanted to say thank you for the memories of my childhood and RIP MR Milair. God Bless

I was very sorry to learn about the death of Alan Milair. He wasd a "Dear Guest" in our home every Saturday morning, and the best part of Monster Movie Matinee.

I would like the family to know what a gift Mr. Milair was. What do you say to someone you never met, that you didn't know, but is an indelible part of your childhood memories? My favorite part of Monster Movie Matinee was not always the movie but the music, the camera panning along the model of the haunted mansion, and listening to Dr. Witty, and Epal. It has been over 40 years and I still remember those happy Saturday afternoons! That is how talented and entertaining your loved one was. Thank you for sharing him with all of us.

My Mom was an evening cleaning lady at WSYR in the early 60's. She took me with her one evening and as I was trying to out some $$ into the candy machine, all of a sudden there was Alan Milair and my Mom introduced us. I'll never forget that smile and the kind personality as well as the guy who would scare me with the Monster Matinee. Fondest memories, Jaan Kalmes

Dear Shawn and Family, we have so many fond memories of your parents; especially your dad, from our days at channel 3. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Shawn: we worked together so long ago, but I remember you and the influence your dad had on so many. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

The character Alan created was beloved to many of my generation. I was fortunate enough to know Alan late in life, and proud to count him as a friend. He was a gentleman, kind to a fault, and a class act. I will miss him terribly.
