David Fox Obituary
David is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Walsh); son, Christopher Fox; two daughters, Stacey (TJ) MacDonald, Brenda Fox (Fiancé, Ryan Schmid); 5 grandchildren; brother Dennis (Petra) Fox, Doug (Rita) Fox; sister Diane Gould; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, February 15 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whelan Bros. & Hulchanski Funeral Home, 5854 Belle Isle Road, Syracuse, NY 13209.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30PM, on Friday, February 16, at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse, NY 13219.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Michelle and myself went for a walk on the Erie Canal one sunny day and as we were walking we noticed a new bench and stopped to see the name plate and was thrilled to see that it was Dave’s name on the plate !! So awesome that Dave’s family did that !!! I think of Dave all the time !! I miss my friend !!!!! Kenny

Patty,
Both Patti and I are here for you during this time of sorrow . My number is in Dave's cell phone or you can get me though TMPD. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time.
As you know, I go back with Dave to the days we worked at Jamesville. You also know he worked with my brother Tom who also sends his deepest sympathies.
Your husband was an excellent cop, a great deer hunting partner on the Teske and Holden farms, a super mechanic and an all around good friend. I will forever remember Dave's wit and street wise demeanor.

Dave and I shared many memorable moments, from chasing and subduing bad guys to fixing the Sergeants car, to choir practice at Hullar's. He was a cops cop, and we always had each others back both on and off duty. I am saddened by the loss, but know his final race is just beginning. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Goodbye my friend !!!! A funny story I have one of many with Dave there was one night at Fulton Speedway Dave told me not to tell anyone that he was a policeman because Dave thought other drivers would crash into him because he was a cop . Boy did we have with that one !!!!!! Dave also told me if I rat him out he would handcuff me to the roll cage of my race car and leve me there until the night was over ! HA HA HA !!!!!! I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND YOU Will Be MISSED SLEEP WELL !!!!!!!!!!
