WOW - learning from his own experience and yet we can read and not do the same. YES letting those we love KNOW IT before they leave our sight or even as Denny while in our sight is a wonderful thing. Of course proving him a wonderful husband and surely father and Grandpa as well I'm saddened by his shortened life but I guess he was needed piloting something a little higher up than our reachable clouds. R.I.P. Denny kinda think you"ve earned a pair of HEAVEN WINGS since this is your FIRST flight. You will now have the chance to meet all those that didn't make it yet thank you for the heroic try.

As an aviation enthusiast I only know of Mr. Fitch from the numerous UA 232 programs. I always found it heartbreaking that he seemed so distraught over the lives lost that day...i hope he now knows the peace he rightfully deserved when he saved 185 other souls. He was an honor to our industry.

Imagine how many people's lives he impacted by saving the people on that flight. Friends, family, siblings, parents, offspring, easily over a 1000 people. What he did was beyond words.
