There is so much I wanted to ask you, Dad, and so many moments I feel we missed (like Fenway). I remember so many of the things you taught me, the conversations we had when it was just us. And I miss those most of all. The memories are like rich deposits of gold as you imparted your wisdom and your humor. I'm glad I got to tell you that I'm proud to be your son, that I'm grateful for your service and sacrifice in The USN, and that your commitment taught me never to compromise. You made me the man I am today, Dad; only the mistakes are mine.
I miss you so much Dad! I know you are in a good place and that us here left behind are the ones in pain and sadness. I'm trying so much to be strong but it's not easy. I'm so grateful to have an extended family that gives me comfort. All of us that loved you so very much will continue to celebrate your life as we knew it and keep your memory going. Always, your daughter, Marianne
