I am greatful to have worked with Dr. Clark. I am thankful that he believed in me so many years ago when he hired me to work in the Burn Unit. The early years were difficult and I learned a great deal from Dr.Clark. I owe my career to him and I am appreciative. He was a very strong, dedicated man. My condolences to his family and friends.

Dr. Bill, former Trustee, came back to see us last fall at Sonnenberg Gardens (Canandaigua NY) where our Director presented him with our highest honor, the Mary Clark Thompson Award -- and not just because Mrs. Thompson was his "Aunt Mary" ! The honor and pleasure were truly ours, to know this wonderful man and have him as a great friend of Sonnenberg. We will miss him. Our thoughts & prayers are with Laurie and all the Clark family. (Dory Wilson, Chair, Sonnenberg History Committee)

At the Frederic Remington Art Museum we were privileged and grateful for Dr. Bill Clark's counsel and support. Even in recent years when it wasn't easy he still made the long trip to Ogdensburg board meetings and other gatherings. We will miss our dear friend sorely.

Bill was complex, gifted, at ease with himself. He inspired others with his strength of will and physical stamina. He had the skill to recognize people with skills that complemented his own, and the wisdom and grace to let them excel. He inspired loyalty and returned it in kind. A driven perfectionist who was alway curious and always learning. It was a privilege to work with him, to see his deep compassion for his patients. I am confident that everyone who knew him was better for it. His passing is a loss for us all.
