Jean worked side by side with her devoted husband Louie at both Arena Farms in Fulton and later at Arena's Eis House Restaurant in Mexico from the 1960's through the 1980's. For over two decades she meticulously tended her beloved gardens at the Eis House until her passing. She loved to play golf and was very active with various social service initiatives, as well as providing compassion and understanding to those in need. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three loving sons, John D. of Newark, NJ, Robert T. of Boulder, CO., and Paul A. of Mexico; her daughter-in-law, Sarah; two grandchildren, Louis Ross and Marteen Rose. Jean also leaves behind three siblings, Anthony (Sandy) Guidone, Cathy (Tony) Tucci and Mary (Les) Deemer; her sister-in-law, Rae Arena; brother-in-law, Dr. Angelo Arena and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27 at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester & South Third Streets in Fulton. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's name to Unity Acres, P.O. Box 153, Orwell, NY 13426 or Camp Good Days, 356 North Midler Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13206.

Jean had much insight, much generosity and I experienced both from her. May your loss be lessened with comfort she would wish for you.

I used to think Jeanne and I were related because her mom Mary was my God Mother and spent many hours in Pt Bryon. Our paths crossed later in life and I enjoyed our talks as adults, and it seems like only yesterday that you walked for 3 days in Colorado for the cancer walk. I had hoped you'd come to visit me in Oregon, but then we lost touch. As one avid gardener to another....I will miss you. Pamela Domick
