Dear Kahala Balkis, Areej, Ali and May and all their families,
I was very sorry the news regarding the passing of our dear beloved Uncle Anwar. He was a father to me during two of the most crtical times in my life. He drove my mother to the hospital delivery room on the day I was born.
The second crtical time in my life is when I fled from the war torn Irag to seek refuge in America. I had no money, clothes or any family. Uncle Anwar and his family supported me and helped me get on my feet, moved me to an apartment and sent me to Syracuse University. He even took me aside and gave me a father son talk about avoiding the bad infuences and to keep focused on my goals and career.
There are no words to discribe how much love and support uncle Anwar spread to everyone.
I will miss him so much.
