My sincere condolences to the Blue family.
As a lifelong 49er fan, I enjoyed Forrest's accomplishments on the field... as a center for the 49ers, the offensive line of which he was the foundation set a record by not allowing a sack of the quarterback all season.
I came to know you personally later in life and found you to be a gentle, forthright person and great diving buddy! We had many great weekends on California's coast.
There are many who cared for you and I know that your passing will leave a huge void in the lives of many people.

I am saddened by this news and my prayers and thoughts go out to his family. He was one of my friends at Auburn where I played baseball. I also new Anne Jacobs his first wife. She was a cheerleader. He loved his Corvette almost as much!,, He will be missed by everyone who ever met this gentle giant from Hollywood....Florida! Larry Matson New Orleans

Dear Blue Family: The Mattick family sends our condolences to Brandi, Brittney and their mother Anne. What a special time back in the 70's to have the Blue family move in next door to us in Los Altos Hills. We will always remember Forrest in our thoughts and prayers. -- The Mattick Family, Aptos, California.
