By the way, Frank R. Cady is the distant cousin of hero, Alan Burton Hall! Hall gave his life saving a young girl in Florida! Hall has Cady ancestry! God bless.

God bless this great man. A truly wonderful actor in the truest sense. Of the veteran stars I believe he is the last of Henning's stellar core cast. I am sad to learn of his passing but now he is reunited with all of the gang and his beloved wife and parents. He was superb in everything and a master as Sam Drucker. Magic preserved on film forever.

To (the other) Frank Cady...............You too capture the essence of your Uncle Bud.(I never knew his nickname) He sure had some good family values, and seemed to share himself with all, what a gift.....I can see he was very special to you. How more special can it get than to be named after him......We are so lucky to have been raised with those values and all that great, fun, and clean TV. I can't get enough of the old funny shows. We lost three classy actors in the last couple of months. Frank Cady, Andy Griffith and Ernest Borgnine. Makes me feel a little sad losing people that I grew up with. I dearly loved all their characters. Frank Cady gave you the feeling that he was a total gentleman. I just wish I had a couple of beers with him while he told his stories. My condolences to the Cady family. Rest in Peace with your wife and family in Heaven Frank. And thank you for giving us Sam Drucker. I'll see you on TV Land.
