I certainly remember Jack Twyman in the NBA.He was a terrific, hard working player.
I remember having his 1957-58 Topps Basketball card.My deepest sympathy to his wife and family.
Jack Twyman was a boyhood idol of mine. He represented everything good about the game. It was not only his basketball skills but his genuine love and care for a fellow human being that defined his greatness. The world was a better place because.of Jack Twyman.
My deepest sympathy to his family.
This man was in the Hall of Fame of Humanity. Byrne Clearwater,Fl.
I grew up spending Sundays and holidays in the house next door on Sacramento St. Jack and my father were 2nd cousins. I remember dunking basketballs, sitting on Jack's shoulders in the dirt lot across the street. I remember Jack and Ned emptying a stuffed animal vendor's stock at a free throw shooting concession at the amusement park in Ligonier. My last memory is of Jack and Carole walking away one night in Sheriden, after a family gathering, eldest daughter between them barely able to hold their hands and keep her feet on the ground. I have always been proud to say that Jack and I were related, if even so distantly. My sincerest condolences to all of the family.
How lucky I was to be a classmate, friend and admirer of Jack Twyman.
TO THE TWYMAN FAMILY- SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I WANT TO SHARE A WONDERFUL HOPE THAT HAS COMFORTED ME, A TIME WHEN NO RESIDENT WILL SAY "i AM SICK" THE PEOPLE THAT ARE DWELLING IN THE LAND WILL BE THOSE PARDONED FOR THEIR ERROR,"
Mr. Twyman was an angel while he lived on earth. Therefore I'm sure he fits right in on that "team" in heaven. God bless him for the kindness he showed his fellow man. May God bless, comfort and keep The Twyman Family!
Dear Carole: Ray died of dementia in Oct. 2009. I remember when you stressed over your mother's passing. I can't imagine the sorrow your family is experiencing, but I know how I prayed for Ray to go to God. He'll be w/a large group welcoming Jack.
I pray for you & the children.

A great player on the court and an even greater player in the game of life. I first learned about Maurie Stokes and Jack in the movie, "Maurie." Deepest sympathies to all who loved, knew, and cared about both men.
