You will truly be missed, rest in peace.
Lou was in college with me and I remember him well. We grew through the years as I watched him display his many talents to the public. West Virginia was my home and to see him portray his love and genuine talent to the world is such a joy. Rest in peace. To the Meyers family, you have my deepest sympathy. Erskine Agee, Brooklyn, N. We were in constant contact, just attended his Piano Debut last year where he was a one man show and preformed for a small audience as if there were hundreds. As a West Virginian my self, an alumni of West Virginia State College, membership chairperson for New York/New Jersey Chapter, Lou Myers did us proud. He served humanity as how he would have served God with impeccable taste. He leaves a legacy for others to follow by example. Pick up the torch and go forth in the name of Jesus because the children of today so badly need your love and sincerity. God bless the Meyers family and especially the memories of that grandmother whom I understand raised him. Remember only what we do to make this world a better place is what counts in eternity. Love you "Mr. GAINS!" Elinor Mann Agee, Brooklyn, N. Y.
My deepest condolences to the Myers family. Mr. Lou was very talented. He will be dearly missed. May you find comfort in the good times.
I will truley miss seeing Lou Myers as he entertained many with his singing and oratorical abilities. He was the first and only person I saw play the tambourine around his ankle while playing the piano/organ. RIP my friend. You deserve a great rest!
May the God of all comfort be with you in the days ahead.
