Harold R. Dann March 7, 2019 Harold R. Dann, 61, of Palermo passed peacefully at home on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Hal was born on March 23, 1957 to James and Carol Dann. Hal retired from Roofers Local #195 in Syracuse and remained a proud member. He was a devoted brother, uncle and son. His devotion to his brother David was immeasurable. If he loved you, he loved you for life; he would sacrifice anything and everything for you. We will miss his bear hugs, the missing shoes and crazy antics that were Hal. Besides his parents and grandparents, he was predeceased by his Aunt Mary (and Uncle Ed) Collins, Uncle Joseph Welch, Uncle James Milligan, Uncle Raymond (and Aunt Alice) Dann and nephew John Michael Whalen. He is survived by his siblings, all of Palermo; James (Jane) Dann, Thomas (Brenda) Dann, Patricia (David) Redhead, Daniel (Mary) Dann, Gary Dann, Diane (Michael) Whalen and his beloved brother David Dann. Also surviving are 20 nieces and nephews; 36 great nieces and nephews; Uncle John (Mary) Milligan, Aunt Karin Welch, many cousins, extended family and friends. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, March 15th from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., at Traub Funeral Home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square with a Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 P.M.
