Such a fine man. I had the pleasure of getting to know him at The Nottingham. He would often greet you with the words "Nice to see you." He liked to go for walks every day in the countryside. He taught me how to pronounce my name in German. I'm sure he is in heaven. As he would have said, I give my "Best wishes to you."

Syracuse Habitat for Humanity would like to offer our condolences to the entire Swords family. John was such a huge part of this organization and he will always be remembered.

So sorry to read of John's death. He was a man of high purpose, to make the world a better place than he found it.He has you and his extended family to carry on this mission in his memory.
