Kenneth MacBain Obituary

Kenneth C. MacBain, 77, passed away peacefully March 1, 2014. Ken was a Marine Corps veteran from 1954-1958. He retired from Falso Air-Trol after 42 years of service. Ken's passions were gardening and decorating for holidays.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean; one daughter, Ann MacBain; two sons, Scott (MaryBeth) and Kevin (Charlene); his mother, Beth MacBain; one brother, Robert; three sisters, Patricia Babcock, Linda MacBain and Edy O'Brien (Peter); six grandchildren, Lindsey, Katlyn, Allison Lakie, Katherine, Scott and Sydney MacBain; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 41 W Kirkpatrick St, Syracuse, NY 13204.
