I have many quotes that I could share with Marian's Family and Friends. Marian ONLY had friends.... She had a beautiful soul, was a very cherished woman. I chose this quote:

I don't want my life to be defined by what is etched on a tombstone. I want it to be defined by what is etched in the lives and hearts of those I've touched.

She touched many lives and hearts. From the day I met Marian at Sealright, she touched my life, silently, and purposely. She was there to chase away the my fears, my lack of confidence in my self as I was given more responsibilities in the Factory.
How she loved furbabies. She NEVER met a canine who did not fall in love with INSTANTLY, and her with the four-legged flea bag! I was raising Dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Marian invited Mark (Washburn) and I over to her for dinner. Under the condition that I bring Wally my golden retriever we were raising. Wally, who was normally impeccably well behaved, hit Marian's living room and turned into this whirling dervish! I was embarrassed and appalled. Marian, forbid me to correct Wally. Bernadette, this is my house and Wally is MY GUEST. She cannot hurt anything and she can act however she likes! Scolded Marian at ME!! Wally was in her glory, as was Marian!!

She not only touched human hearts, but those loving hearts and souls of dogs. No wonder she suggested Contributions be sent to her church as well as the Oswego County Humane Society. Thank you Marian, I am a Board Member of the OCHS, and have two rescue fur-babies, since I can no longer raise guide dogs due to my health.
Love you my dear,
Bernadette Mroz

I am so saddened to hear about Marian's passing. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all. I have so many fond memories of family gatherings, trips to Colorado, and her welcoming and gracious spirit. Sending love, prayers and strength as you prepare to send her to her final resting place. My sincere sympathy.
