Laurie and I both extend our deepest sympathy Cliff.
I will miss your Dad a lot. I think we both got a kick out of not always agreeing but I sure got some great lessons over the years. I will never forget The "Oaklahoma" trip or the trip to Michigan where a guy who built Farmall engines for national tractor pulls new of Bud's work and respected it. I bet he is still looking for 20" rims for the 1923 international truck. RIP Bud- You were a good friend.

Cliff, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I have so many stories. I met your dad sometime in August of 1986; I was 18 going on 19 yrs old. I met him through the Middleton's where I work while at Simmons. As Bill Middleton described it, your mom and dad, the Middletons, Traubs and Harters were apart of the cleek. The local FD assoc had its clicks and they were apart of the cleek. I always considered your dad a friend. I would tell him that when he would ask me to work for him. I would say “Bud, I don't want to ruin our friendship my working for you”. Then we would laugh about it. I will try to come to pay my respects.

To Cliff and family, I have nice memories while growing up and visiting with your Dad, Aunt June, and grand parents, Cliff and Marion Hall. I remember the horses and family gatherings for Thanksgiving dinner in LaFayette. It was so nice just recently how your Dad thought of all of us when he invited us to the Christmas buffet dinner at the Log Cabin. So glad we could all be together! We are thinking of you cousin, and send prayers of comfort.

Bud was a real institution in LaFayette and CNY. He will be sorely missed. I'll never forget the banter between Bud and my Grandma Bush whenever they would see each other, "Bud Hall don't you be measuring me for a pine box!" and Bud would laugh and say, "Edna, we all have to go sometime!" A good man, good Soldier and good friend to LaFayette, Little York and Homer New York!
