Just learned today of Damon's home going. He and my dad, Edward Mullinax of Quitman, shared the same birthday which is today. He worked at dad's small store until college and we had the joy of driving him up to Ft. Valley. Thankful for his life and legacy.

Dear Miller Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Damon's passing. He was a great mentor to young people and extension professionals. He helped make me a better professional when I worked with 4-H. To know Damon was to know his family and his faith. He was devoted to his family and spoke of you all often. One of my fondest memories is when we took a bus load of 4-H'ers from Florida to Washington, DC in 2002 with Damon and the new state 4-H leader both on-board - for the National Conversation on Youth Development. With kind regards,

To the miller family. Hold you head up high and keep looking to the hills from where your help will come from. God is not marked nor dead. He knew bro. Miller days from conception. God came back for that which he had only loaned to you. Bro. Miller will look after you babydoll from heaven. Continue to keep your hands in gods hands. Earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal. May God bless and keep you is our prayers. Bro. Miller was my husband pastor Hodges jogging buddy until his knee prevented from going to the track.

Dear Miller Family
I was so saddened to hear of Damon's passing. I worked with him for many years in the 4-H program. He was always upbeat, professional, engaging, and he could sing "Elvira" like nobody else could! We always looked forward to his hosting the Share The Fun Contest at State 4-H Congress. He put all the kids at ease and made it a great time for everyone.
It doesn't surprize me to see from the many comments posted that he touched many lives and will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love and Peace,
Marcia Morris

My Prayers are with you and your Family. In times such as these, remember that GOD does not and would not place anything upon us that our hearts could not bear.
For comfort refer to the King James Version and meet me at the "Book" of John (Chapter) 14: and let's walk together from verses 1 through 6.

King James Version: 14: 1-6

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
