Fincher,Vereen,Chip, Floy and Doug- I just returned from out of town today and saw this. I'm very sorry for the loss of Elaine. She was a wonderful lady and I have many wonderful memories from years ago and our time spent together as friends when we were growing up. God bless you all.
May her smile and the love she gave bring you comfort from God during the time of mourning. Colossians 2:2
I met Elaine while I was teaching at Ruediger Elementary School. We found out that our Mothers had been friends as district officers of the Women's Society of Christian Service. My Mom from DeFuniak Springs and Elaine's from Panama City. That gave us a bond which lasted from that time until now.
"The nicest place to be is in someone's thoughts, the safest place to be is in someone's prayers, and the very best place to be is in the hands of God. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers and I know for certain that on Wednesday the 22nd God welcomed Elaine into Heaven. She was loved by many and will be missed by many, including me. (She was especially dear to me when I lost my husband, Joe, three years ago. Her prayers were healing.)

With deepest sympathy from the Andrew Elton Williams family.
I have so many wonderful memories of Elaine. Some of my favorites were her driving me to Graceville as a child to see my Great Aunt Eula Johnson, sitting in the pew behind her every year at the Williams Family Reunion and hearing her sweet voice sing Amazing Grace. What a truly wonderful woman. I will miss her dearly.
Dear Floy, Chip, Doug, Fincher & Vereen: Your Mother was such a special person and I will never forget her graciousness in offering the house she and Julian lived in for my wedding. What a wonderful, truly Christian woman to have as a Mother. Our heartfelt sympathy to each of you.
Elane Williams Smith, one of God's angels here on earth, all who had the opportunity to meet her were truly blessed.
Elaine was truly one of the best clients I had the pleasure in knowing. She met my men and I everyday with a beautiful smile and a kind word. A true Southern Lady with a heart for Christ. What a Blessing she was.
A true southern lady with a sweet and endearing spirit and a big wonderful smile. She always made everyone feel special. Elaine was a dear heart and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
I know I reflect the feelings of our entire Pilates class at Good Friends when I tell you how very much we will miss Elaine. She was such a joy in class, never failing to make us laugh and to inspire us as she continued to stay active and fit to the very end of her life. Such a lovely person will be sorely missed by so many. We love you, Elaine. Beverly Brown
