A truly great servant has passed on to be with the Lord. Our sons loved coming to the office for dental visits because Dr. Stevens made the experience so pleasant. He will be missed very, very much.
Sorry to hear about husband.
a light so bright can never be extinguished by the likes of death
Valorie, We were devastated my the news regarding Dr. Stevens. We surely will miss that wonderful smile and quick wit. Praying a special blessing for you and the kids. Hope time will help heal your hearts. Also praying for the devoted staff that cared so deeply for him. Jayme McCall, Hannah McCall, Chelsie McCall and Lindsay Brown Calhoun.
Valorie and family. Words can not express our sadness for your loss. Although we lost touch over the last few years, my wife and I will never forget how you and Luke welcomed us in to you inner circle. May god provide comfort to you and the children.
I'm shocked…I noticed the headline but never thought it would be Dr. Stevens.
My deepest sympathy to Dr. Steven's family and his office family! I echo others who state he was a lovely man whose work was highly recommended. His efforts have given both my boys beautiful smiles and I expected he would do the same for me. He was so thoughtful and catered to his patients. No other dentist or orthodontist would or has gone to such great lengths to create a warm and wonderful office environment with trains, finch aviaries, salt water fish tanks, art, family pictures, cookies, coffee and hired the most amazing staff. We feel blessed to have him be a part of our lives…
To Dr. Stevens family, staff and patients. I worked closely with Dr. Stevens in setting up his Boyd dental chairs and various equipment in his amazing office. My heart go out to you in your time of sorrow. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to hold in your hearts forever. Brenda Kitchens
We are so sorry for your loss. Dr. Steven will always be remembered, whenever I see my smile, I will think of him.
He always made me feel special and looked forward to seeing him. Words cannot express your loss.
I first met Dr Stevens and his wife when they were my neighbors in Royal Oaks subdivision back in the late 1980's. Many years later, my daughter became one of his patients. He was such a good guy--I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathies to Valerie and his beautiful children.
Dear Valorie; We just heard about Luke's passing a few minutes ago. This was very shocking to us. You and Luke are valued friends and we have many fond memories of our times with you. We are very saddened by your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Jonathan & Katherine Parker

Our deepest sympathy to the Stevens' family... We had the honor of meeting Dr. Stevens recently as my daughter was one of his patients.... He was extremely kind, patient, thoughtful and honest... During our first visit, I KNEW I could trust him with my daughter's smile... May his family & loving and caring staff find peace in knowing that he touched many lives - near and far, and for that, his legacy will live on.... Wishing you the peace of God during this difficult time...
We were honored to have met Valorie and Luke while working with them in Gautamela. We were so inspired by his decication helping the people of Gautemela. Our prayers are with Valorie and their children. Sorry that we lost a new friend.

I have such pleasant memories of Dr. Stevens. I was a terrified kid when I went to him for braces, and he was very kind. I owe my smile to him. My prayers to his loved ones. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss.
I am so sorry to hear about this. My thoughts are of Valerie, and the wonderful care my daughters received from Dr. Stevens and hisamazing staff. Jane, I cannot believe it. So sorry for all of you, fromtheBarbour family...Emmalee and Kehren both have beautiful smiles because of you!
Dr.Stevens was my dental savior.Peace be with the family as he rests in peace Jessica Amanda Bent FSU,a former patient.
A great classmate, always a gentleman and a scholar. We were blessed to have had him in our lives.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. My daughter really enjoyed seeing his smile and hearing him humming a tune.
This was my orthodontist so young vibrant and full of knowledge my heart us so very heavy right now! I alway look forward to seeing him. God bless his family.
I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the Stevens family and orthodontic team. I never met Dr. Stevens but my daughter, Eliza, would visit his office with her best friend, Emily Stowers, when they were in middle school. Eliza was ill her entire life and, as a result of surgeries, hospitalizations, medications and a calendar full of doctor's visits detested anything medical. But she would always return from Emily's orthodontic visits and tell me she wanted braces! I explained to her that she didn't NEED braces. She told me that she didn't care, she loved Dr. Stevens and so she wanted them anyway! What a tribute to him. He must have been an extraordinary man. I am so sorry.
Our thought and prayer are with the Stevens family. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Luke our fellow Grand Canyon River Rafter. The Swisher
Dr. Stevens was a great person and I am thankful that he was my son's orthodontist. I just learned of his passing in church today and am very sorry I missed the opportunity to attend his service and pay respects to him and his family. My prayers go out for his family, his office staff, his patients and his colleagues. God Bless you Dr. Stevens and may he welcome you with open arms into the Glory.
I'm was so saddened to hear of the passing of Dr Stevens. Such a tremendous loss for his family, his office staff and our community here in Tallahassee.
(Mother of Patrick and Natalie-patients of Dr Stevens)
I'm going to miss you Maestro.
Dr. Stevens was such a wonderful orthodontist and such a good person whom loved his patients and family. When I went to him for treatment we realized we both were from Miami and our fathers flew together at Eastern Airlines. I looked forward to my visit to him each month. We had a lot to talk about with our fathers knowing each other. He was always a jolly doctor with great character. Just recently my braces came off. I was so amazed by my look I gave him a hug of thanks. I know how much his family and friends will miss him. His patients are truly blessed to have him. Valerie, family and staff, I pray to give you strength to cope with our loss.
My children loved the train that went around his office and how kind he was. They never minded going for their appointments. I am praying for his family.
Jeanne Thon (Powder Springs, GA)
My heart has been so sad this week! My office sends patients daily to Dr. Stevens because he has been doing outstanding work for many years! We will be lost without him! He will never be forgotten! He took great pride in his work!! Both my sons have been there numerous times and I can't express enough how wonderful we were treated by him and his great staff!!! God has all the answers for us but my guess is God needed a special Angel!!! RIP Dr Stevens!!! We love you!!!
Luke and his family are in our thoughts and prayers. I and all who had the privilege to have known him are better off for it. He was a true inspiration to me as a resident, I can only hope to be such a positive influence on as many people in my life.
My children enjoyed going to his office. He made their experience at getting braces very relaxed and comforting. His staff are kind and his office exceptional . So sorry for your loss to his family and staff.
Luke was such a great teacher of orthodontics. He was so dedicated to education and orthodontics. I learned so much from him during my residency. He always took the time to go over cases with me during residency and in private practice. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with the Stevens family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Valorie, Cody, Austin and Emily and the entire Stevens family. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Jim and Cheryl Davis (Morgans Point Resort, TX)
Dr. Stevens was truely one of a kind. He was an exceptional orthodontist and had a way of making braces cool for kids. I enjoyed going to his office with my kids because he had a warm and easy going personality and his "team" is the best! My children looked forward to the fresh baked cookies at each visit. He made going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. I am so sorry for your loss, he left this world much too early. I pray that God will be with your family and his staff during this most difficult time.
I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Stevens several times through my boss, Dr. Robert Waugh. He is such a caring and funny person, not to mention very talented orthodontist. I am so sorry for your loss and will continuously lift up your whole family in my prayers.
I will miss working with Lucas. I could always be assured that my patients would get the best of treatment with he and his staff. It was a privilege to have known and worked with Lucas.
To the Family of Dr. Stevens,
We are so sad over the unexpected loss of such a wonderful Doctor, Father, and Community Member. Dr. Stevens and his excellent staff helped both our children with their smiles and was the most professional, caring person throughout. Our prayers are with all of you in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, The Van Riper Family
Valorie, my family was so saddened to hear the news. I can only speak from the heart to say our thoughts and prayers are with you. I know how proud Lucas was of his children. He beamed whenever I would ask about them. They are wonderful kids and a tribute to both of you. May your family and friends and your faith guide you in this time of need. You are such good people and good neighbors God bless you.
I was shocked that such a young, caring man, has left us too soon. He was a great orthodontist, and a very good man. So sorry for your loss.
We are deeply saddened to lose a great and caring person, and a great and caring orthodontist who treated our two daughters. It is a great loss that the next generation of Tallahasseans will not have the opportunity to have that relationship with Dr. Stevens. His was a life well lived that touched many.
As the mother of one of his patients, who also danced with Emily, I was so sorry to hear of his death. Too young, too lovely a man. So sorry.
The orthodontic specialty lost one our best in Lucas passing,he will be missed by all who knew and served with him and our specialty during his life.
Valorie, I am so sorry for the untimely passing of Luke. He and I were dental school classmates and I have always held him in very high esteem. I fondly remember meeting you when you and Luke attended some of the Florida Academy several years ago. Please accept my condolences and prayers at this time.
Dr. Stevens was such a caring person. The relationship I developed with him and his office staff starting in 2007 from the first day I got my braces until now will never be forgotten. I am so sorry to hear of his passing....with sincere sympathy Karmen Holden
We are shocked and deeply saddened by your loss. Dr. Stevens and his entire staff became part of our family during the years that he treated our son, Christopher. His guidance and encouragement led us to a successful conclusion to a serious problem. There is no one better in his profession and we, like all of his patients, were blessed to have him as son's doctor. Our prayers go out to you Valerie and your children.
It is with great sorrow we express our condolences to the family and staff of Dr. Stevens! He was a wonderful man and a blessing to this community and his patients. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers and we pray our wonderful Father will comfort you and be your source of strength!
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dr. Stevens was such a wonderful man all around. He was always so friendly and funny when I visited him for braces- 11 years ago when I was in 7th grade and last year- we laughed at how funny my pictures looked side to side, at 23. He was a wonderful leader for my Confirmation class at Trinity and he always remembered me when I'd run into him around town and at Maclay over the years. I remember his warm smile and great sense of humor. I hope and pray for happiness through all the grief each of you face. I can't imagine your loss and will always remember Dr. Stevens as great person. Stay strong.
A life well lived! I am sure he has heard those words every Christian desires, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"
Deeply sorry to hear of the loss of your love one. As a former patient, my daughter and I are greatful to have know Dr. Stevens...May God Bless you and your family...Ruby Johnson and Darielle Tucker.
I was saddened when I heard of Dr. Stevens passing. He was a great orthodontist and he worked with me effortlessly to make sure I had and received the best treatment. Dr. Stevens you will be missed by so many.
We were shocked to hear of this news. Dr. Stevens was so great that even when we moved to Jacksonville we continued using him. We made that drive for the last 5 years as we knew we could never replace him or the great care his office provided. The kids would anticipate going to see him and to get their cookie or Frappuccino and collect their coins. I would get decorating ideas from his beautiful office all done up in its beach house décor. He made our whole experience so much fun! When I had oral surgery at Shands in Gainesville my surgeons couldn't stop raving about what a great orthodontist and longtime supporter and friend of UF he was. Such a loss way too soon but certainly a life well lived and an inspiration to others. Our prayers to his wife, children and all his wonderful staff. Maria, John, AJ, Evan and Abby Sleight

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.
Praying for the Stevens family and office staff. You are one of the reasons I SMILE again and I thank you for that. Rest In Paradise!
My heart goes out to you in such a difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your three children can count on the support from your Maclay family. We all love your family and will be there for you! My prayers are with you.
Our thoughts and prayers to the Stevens family!!! Hugs abound!!!
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Stevens family and to the staff at Stevens Orthodontics. Dr. Stevens was a great orthodontist and a wonderful person.
Deb Sundberg (Kailua Kona, HI)
Our family is shocked to hear of his passing. He was so good with both of my kids and to all his patients. He always went out of his way to make you smile and feel comfortable. He was a very good man. He will be sorely missed.
May God bless you in this time of sorrow! Dr Stevens will truely be missed! He was always so encouraging and supportive, a wonderful man and colleague. We pray that you will find comfort from the pain of your loss by all the smiles he has created in the community.
Valorie, My heart goes out to you and your children as well as Luke's office "team". He was the consummate professional--so kind and caring to his patients and employees. What I remember most, though, is seeing him with you at all of the school plays, banquets, games, graduations over all of the many years Austin and Kelly were classmates. He cared deeply for you and your children and it shows in the remarkable children they've become. He left you too soon but with so much to cherish. May God comfort you as you grieve his loss and embark on your new normal.
We at Porch de Salomon are honored and humbled to be a recipient of memorial gifts in honor of our exceptional friend, Dr. Luke. Luke was a huge blessing to us and those we serve in Guatemala . He alleviated much suffering by pulling bad teeth. He inspired us (and gave a great teaching point) by being willing to do extractions after not having done them in 25 years. He was so much fun and was very generous! We will miss you brother. God's peace to Valorie, their children, family and office folks.
I am so sad to hear the news of Dr Stevens passing..his smile would always light up any room..my prayers go out to his family
So sorry to hear of Luke's passing. We were neighbors of the Stevens' on Refuge Road for 10 years. Our children grew up and went to Maclay together. We are praying for Valorie and the kids. I know Luke will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dr Stevens treated all three of my children. He treated them as more than just patients. He had a great smile and was so warm and friendly.
My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Stevens' family, staff and friends. He brightened many lives and will be missed by all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stevens family and Dr. Stevens' staff. Both our boys (now grown) and now our daughter were fortunate enough to have had Dr. Stevens as their orthodontist. He was an incredibly positive, talented, and generous man.
So sad to hear the news of Dr. Stevens passing. Although we know he is in Heaven right now, he will truly be missed here on earth. Unfortunately, there aren't too many men left like Dr. Stevens. When my son and I learned that we both needed braces, we visited a few orthodonists. But no one measured up to Dr. Stevens. He and his staff made us feel so comfortable and at ease and like they really cared about us...not the money. The family and staff will be in my prayers.
What a great gentleman and outstanding professional. We will all miss his contributions but his work will live for a long time in the smiles of 100s of people in Tallahassee.
He was a wonderful man who was kind to everyone and loved his family very much. My deepest sympathies to you all.
Luke: I'm very sad we never got to take that ride...
Our family had the priviledge of having Dr. Stevens as our Orthodontist. Thanks to him and his wonderful staff, we all have 'perfect smiles'. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
We are sad as if we lost one of our own family members. We have been going to Dr. Stevens since our now 12 year-old daughter was 5. She was born with a cleft lip and palate and because of his expertise in this field, our daughter's smile is more beautiful each day and has helped her with her self-esteem more than words can say. Dr. Stevens...we will miss you dearly. We send our thoughts and prayers to your family and staff at this time and always. <3 The Palmieri Family, Glenn, Jackie, Emily and Maddie <3
I heard about Dr. Stevens before I met him. I lived next door to Dr. Russell Boyd, Dr. Stevens' orthodontist and his inspiration in Miami. When I moved to Tallahassee from Miami my son and I both had our smiles "beautified" by Dr. Stevens. I was always impressed by his happy attitude, his easy manner with his patients and the great work he did for all his patients. Thank you Dr. Stevens for being a bright light of joy for so many patients and others who know you.
My heart goes out to the family and staff of Dr. Stevens. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
I am so sad to hear of Dr. Steven's passing. My two children and I were patients of his. I can still see his smile as he washes his hands before coming to see about me. He had the kindness, meekiest spirit about him that makes you just love him and feel good about taking care of your teeth. He was always concerned about his patients and had the best staff in the world. He has perfected and completed his work here on earth, but now God has called in to do a work for him in heaven. I pray that God will give his family, staff, friends and patients all the comfort and strength they need to make it through during this time of bereavement. Dr. Stevens will forever be missed and will remain in our hearts.
Dr. Stevens will be greatly missed. He was a special person and doctor. I was one of his long time patients from way back in 1988 (just as he was getting started) for many, many years! He was always so friendly and so wonderful at every visit I remember. He was so talented and truly a gifted orthodontist, Whom touched many patients lives, as he did mine. Of course when my son was in need of an orthodontist there wasn't a doubt on who he would see only the best-- Dr. Stevens! He will be remembered for all of his kindness and personal touches for making each of his patients feel special. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and his amazing office staff.
We will truly miss you Dr Stevens.
Thanks for giving my daughter a beautiful smile.
We were privileged to have met Lucas at the party held in his honor by Irving Fleet many years ago. He was as real and wonderful a man you could ever want to meet and he never waivered from that first impression. His lovely wife, Valorie, was always ever present in his daily life. Being a husband and father was most important but he held the care of his patients on an equal plain. His light has gone out all too soon and the emptiness he has left in his family, his practice, the community and the world will not be replaced. Our heartfelt prayers for all who are left to grieve this sad loss. Heaven has another bright star!
I had the great blessing of learning under Dr. Stevens. He drove one Friday a month to the University of Florida to teach the orthodontic residents. This generous giving of his time was appreciated by many orthodontists and his teachings will last a lifetime. It is great to think of the many lives he touched in Tallahassee and throughout the state of Florida. Peace and comfort to his family. Thank You Dr. Stevens
Praying for The Stevens' Family. It's truly our community's loss. We were so fortunate to have such an awesome orthodontist. He made each visit fun and truly cared what was happening in their life. May his family find comfort knowing they'll meet again.
What a great orthodontist! Condolences to his family and his office staff.
So sad to hear of Dr. Stevens passing. My son and I were clients and thought the world of him. We hit it off as former Miamians and I used to tease him that he reminded me of Jim Carey as the pet detective. We will miss you, Ace!
We are so sad to hear the news of Dr. Steven's passing. We want to thank Dr. Stevens for touching the lives of those less fortunate through Smile for a Lifetime. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May God keep and comfort you.

P.S. I've attached a photo of
Dr. Stevens and his first S4L scholar.
Your loss is irreplaceable. There are no words to describe how sorry I feel.
May Dr. Stevens' soul rest in peace.
This is a terrible loss to the community. My son has enjoyed excellent care at Dr. Stevens practice. My heart goes out to his family.
I met Dr. Stevens through my boss at UF College of Dentistry. He was such a pleasant and friendly man. I remember attending a meeting in Tallahassee and I took time to go and visit him at his office. He made time to see me and that meant a lot. My sincere sympathies and heartfelt condolences to your family. It is my prayer that God will be a continual and constant source of comfort and healing for your family.
So sad to hear this news. He was so young and vibrant. He made the kids want to go to the orthodontist. One of a kind.
I'm so saddened to learn of Dr. Stevens passing. We lost a wonderful human being. I send prayers of comfort and Peace to his beautiful family. I'm so sorry for your loss.
We're terribly sorry to hear the news. What a wonderful doctor and practice, including every single person who works there. Both my kids have had Dr. Stevens do their braces, and his work was top notch. What a wonderful family of people working there. We're so sorry, and so glad you're continuing his work. He was so committed; he would so appreciate what you are doing. (On behalf of Mary Garrity and Stuart Garrity)
Disbelief !! I've been taking my granddaughter,Amber Stark, to Dr. Stevens for a couple of years...even now that she is 18 and can drive herself there, I still go. We agreed a couple of weeks ago how much we loved Dr. Stevens and his wonderful staff and we just really liked being there. We are so sad for his family, friends, staff and us...
I think I was one of Dr. Stevens first patients back in 1985. I was part of the Dr. Fleet patients that were "grandfathered" in. I haven't seen Dr. Stevens since I was in college, but he was always so sweet & funny. He had a way of putting you at ease....which is no easy feat when your mouth, metal & rubber bands are involved. I know he was a huge asset to the community & will be missed. My thoughts & prayers with all the office & his family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Stevens will be missed by me and my boys. May the love of friends and family carry you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My heart goes out to Dr Stevens' family. I know he will be missed by many. My son always looked forward to seeing him. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
We are deeply sadden by the loss of Dr. Stevens. I just started treatment with him last week so this is a major shock. Tallahassee has taken a huge loss in the dental field. He surely made smiles to last a lifetime. Family and staff are in our prayers daily.
We all are hearth broken by the sad news. Dr Stevens was a dear colleague, a great friend and somebody that I admired. He touched the hearts of so many people in the area. He definitely be missed by all of us in the community. He always be in our hearts and prayers
Shocked to learn of Lucas's passing. We were 3rd degree black belts at the same time and trained together for years.
I was saddened to read of Dr. Stevens' passing. My experience during the time I was under he and his staff's care was of a kind and caring individual. I have such fond & fun memories of collecting tokens, playing the holidays games right along with his younger patients. My prayers to his family, friends and staff for your loss.
I was saddened to learn of Luke's passing. He was a good friend, teacher , and colleague. He will be missed in the orthodontic community.
After we suffer a little while, the God of all Grace will stand us on our feet and make us whole. 1st Peter 5:10. We will pray for you as you endure this unexpected journey. Denise Williams and her three daughters who look beautiful because of your tender care, Larame, CarmaLeigh and Anna.
My boys and I are so deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Dr. Stevens.
I will forever remember him singing 80's music sweetly (sometimes exuberantly-depending on what was playing ) while adjusting my or my child's braces. He always had a smile on his face and kind greetings for us every time we came in to see him.
Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers...
He will Be Missed!
My girls were among the first to have been under Dr. Stevens care (College St.). What a blessing he was and what a legacy he has left behind. Hold on to all the wonderful memories...they are God's way of helping to ease the pain. My deepest sympathy!
I was shocked and so sad to hear of Luke's passing, he was a great guy. I had the honor of having Luke and Val as friends and have two children, Kendra & Tyler that have a beautiful set of teeth today because of Luke. I am so sorry for your loss and you are in our prayers.
I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Stevens' passing. Our family loved everything and everyone in his office, most of all Dr. Stevens. He was such a bright light, so friendly, so funny, so wise, and so competent, and I treasured every minute we spent with him. Odd to say that about a trip to the dentist, but if you knew him, it makes total sense. He made a big difference in the lives of so many people, for what he did and for who he was. He left an unusual and beautiful legacy, but one that ended too soon.
Dr. Stevens was a pleasure to know as a man and an orthodontist. Our TCC dental assisting students loved to rotate through his exceptionally beautiful office while on their externships. He even hosted a yearly Spring dinner for the local dental hygienists to show us pictures of his missionary work in Central America, which inspired his audience to join him for future trips to provide dentistry and build homes there for those without. He was a Superstar. All of Tallahassee is crying. As a dental hygienist I will speak for all of us when I say that we have lost an angel of a guy. Heartfelt condolences to his wife, father, children, staff, extended family, and friends.
Our family is very saddened to hear of Dr. Stevens' passing. He was such a wonderful person who was always giving back to his patients and community. We are truly blessed to have been patients of such a caring and inspirational doctor. Our heartfelt sympathy to his, wife, children, brother, son, uncle and his wonderful staff.
My Prayers are with your family- Dr. Stevens, I know you are watching over them. We will miss you and it was a pleasure to know you. We will all miss your kindness and wonderful spirit.
Dr. Stevens gave me great confidence in myself/smile a long time ago and he has brightened so many others lives as well. I am truly sorry for the loss of your Husband, father and Boss/co-worker. May time help heal and happy memories get you through your toughest times.
I am deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Stevens death. I always enjoyed my talks with him. He will be sorely missed. To his family my deepest sympathies and prayers for strength. May the peace of the Lord be with you always.
Dr. Stevens was kind, thoughtful, generous man. Thankfully, his deeds provide a lasting legacy and serve as a testament to what motivated him. What most do not know is that he provided orthodontics at no charge to some local children and youth who had a profound need and no means to pay for the help. His selflessness literally changed the life of these young people. I was honored to serve on his board with others in this endeavor and I am humbled that we were friends. To the family, I pray that as your pain and sadness passes you are always comforted by a lifetime of wonderful memories and that you will see him in the smiles of so many in our community.
I was shocked and saddened to learn of Luke's passing. I have been privileged to have known Luke through our association with our consultants and have connected many times recently in Atlanta. He was a kind intelligent friend whom I will dearly miss. My heart and prayers go out to his wife and children.
Dr. Stevens came in to our lives when my now 10 year old daughter was just 5. He worked with her and got her to Shands. Because of his intial intervention my 10 year daughter is not afraid to smile anymore. Thank you!
We are so grateful to know such a generous and thoughtful person. This is a loss to all who have known him and to the community. Thank you Dr. Stevens, you have been an inspiration.
We love you all VERY much!!
I am a former patient of Dr. Stevens. During my pre-teens, despite my parents trying to convince me otherwise, I went through an awkward phase. We had just moved to Tallahassee and it was difficult for me to adjust to my new surroundings and fit in. I then had to get braces. So it was even more difficult. But Dr. Stevens put me at ease, always making me laugh, and assuring me it would all be worth it, at each visit during those two years and four months of having to wear wires. The day he took them off was the day I gained confidence. Now today, 15 years later, my smile is still my "best feature". Thank you, Dr. Stevens.
As a colleague in dentistry and the orthodontist of my children, Dr Stevens always showed professionalism but more than that love to us all. My heartfelt tears go out to his family at home and his professional family as well. He was an exceptional man that recognized dental hygienist and their partnership in orthodontics. For that I will be forever grateful. He will be missed greatly
We are heartbroken. Dr. Stevens was kind, intelligent, and always made those around him feel like they were important. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time- he will be missed.
We are so sorry for your loss .are prayers are with you. Rita Tongen and Family
My heart is truly saddened to hear of our loss of such a phenomenally thoughtful, funny and generous man. He was our orthodontist and we will miss seeing his enthusiastic style of embracing his practice. My heart goes out goes out to all of his office staff, friends and expecially his family. I am sure you already know how special he was, but wantd to share with you how he impacted our lives too, we will never forget Dr. Stevens, he was the coolest orthodontist I ever knew. God Bless you Dr. Stevens!!
My heart is breaking for you and your children Valorie...I know you have strong faith in God, family and friends, please lean on all of them. I love you and will see you soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. We are so sorry for your loss. We are all so sad. All three of my daughters and I will remember Dr. Stevens fondly as the nicest, sweetest man.
