To The Harris Family:
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Major Harris! I remembered him from the days when he sang with Mike Harris and the Imperials at the old Coliseum on Clay Street. At that time, I played sax with the Fabulettes all girl group. He was one of Richmond's finest talents, and my favorite song that he sang was "Old Danny Boy". What a beautiful voice he had! He will surely be missed.
God will grant you the peace and comfort of His everlasting love.

To Major's Family I Greet You In The Most Highest Greeting In Paradise,And we say it in the english language,"May Peace Be Unto You." Major and Ron was my husband's best friend. Most people admired them for their FAME, I admired them for the true men they were before the fame that GOD laid upon them. Peace I leave with you beloved family.Let not your hearts be troubled. We loved him, but God loved him more. I am the wife of Bill Spratley of Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes.
