Mr Green was the kind of teacher/friend/mentor that comes along only once in a lifetime. Thank Goodness he was a part of my life. He always went the extra mile. He always had a smile or a kind word. Made you feel like you were special. I learned so many life lessons from him & Chemistry Too! He was loved and will be missed. My Prayers go out for his family.

Paul Green will be missed. Even though we haven't seen him in many years; he was thought of often. Remembering things he taught us and not just in chemistry class; life lessons. He was a role model to many and he will be missed by more than just his family. He was a special person and we were all lucky to have him as a teacher and friend. Prayers for his family.

The world is now a lesser place. Paul Green was the highlight of my four years at Rickards High School (class of '75). He set the bar for proving that chemistry could be fun AND you could learn while having fun. Always a big smile and a twinkle in his eye, always supportive, always fun and funny, and at the same time showing his love of teaching and learning, and making that contagious. I was lucky to have him as a teacher and honored to have him as a friend. Holding all of his family close to my heart at this very difficult time. Please know that this man touched so many lives and made this world a better place. There never was and never will be another man like Paul. He will be missed terribly but never, never forgotten. Godspeed, dear man. You are loved!

Mr. Green was a very fine man. My wife and I had great respect for him...he was more like a friend than a teacher. He had great respect for all the students.

Mr. Green offered me my first teaching job his first year at Rickards High in 1989. He was one of those great administrators that I admired and respected for the dedication and love of education he modeled in all that he did. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

'Paul I'm here', that's what I used to say to Mr. Green when he called the role my sophomore year at RHS. Mr. Green was a very caring and loving educator. He made class fun and he knew how to get the best out of us. It was during my 10 year reunion that Mr. Green approached me and said these words" Sampson I need you, I have the perfect job for you. He recruited me to be on staff at Cobb Middle School, to work with kids with learning disabilities. As in anything that you're not prepared for, I initially resisted. But his persistence convinced me that I could do it. And to this day it was one of the best decisions I've made in my adult life. Thank you 'Paul', I'll always cherish the faith that you had in me. To the family, hold on to GOD's unchanging hands. For you will see him again.
