Vida Herndon Watford
Vida Elizabeth Herndon Watford, 84, of Tallahassee passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 in Tallahassee.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Pavo, GA. With Pastor Dennis Young officiating.
The family will receive friends at the chapel from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 at Faith Funeral Home in Havana. (850.539.4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com)
Mrs. Watford was born July 31, 1929 in Pavo, GA the daughter of the late Glossan Herndon and the late Carrie Dean Herndon. She was a faithful member of Bible Believers Fellowship. She loved to cook and fish. She had a passion for caring for people, especially her family.
She is survived by her son Darrell Russell Oliver (wife Susan) of Camilla, GA and her daughter Bonnie Oliver Worthington (husband Don) of Tallahassee, FL. Seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Otis Watford in 2005.
