Virginia Carolina Balzer
Virginia Carolina Balzer, 81, passed away on July 1, 2012 at her home in Indialantic, Florida. She is survived by her son, Frank Louis Balzer III (wife Karla and daughter Francesca) of Plant City, and three daughters, Barbara Ann Balzer (son Lt. Cullen Kolbach) of Tallahassee, Joyce Lynn Anderson (husband Marlin and daughters Aja and Gloria) of Tampa, and Diana Marie Taylor (husband John and daughters Ada and Gala) of Durham, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Air Force Lt. Colonel Frank Louis Balzer Jr., her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Henry O. Anderson, and eight brothers and sisters. Her passion in life was as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and making welcoming homes around the world with each of Frank's successive assignments.
Visitation with friends and family will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 from 2-3 p.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, 5950 South U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida, followed by a Celebration of her life from 3-3:45 p.m. and a Committal Ceremony at 3:45 p.m. at Florida Memorial Gardens wherein her remains will forever be entombed next to Frank's.
