I've been reading John Ringo books for several years now and have always been touched by his dedication in dedicating each book in the memory of Capt. Tamara Long. It wasn't until recently though that I took the time to research who this hero was. It was my honor to read about the life of this true American hero. I know I'm ten years out of date with this but my thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I have a 12 year old daughter and I am going to tell her about your daughter and friend's life and accomplishments. In this day and age it's sometimes hard to find modern day hero's and positive role models for young girls in this era of pop stars and models. Know that Capt. Long's life can still affect people in a positive way , all over the United States.... even ten years after the tragedy of her death.

To the family and friends of Capt. Tamara Long Archuleta:
It has truly been my honor to sign Tamara's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Tamara will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy

Nine years have passed and I admire this woman and all she accomplished in her life that was well-lived. May her son be well and know that his Mom was a true American hero.

Your sacrifice and courage stand above and beyond the call of duty. May your family and friends stay strong and find peace. God bless you and yours.
