I had the opportunity to attend Bell Shoals Baptist Church when I lived in Valrico from 1998-2006. I was blessed to hear Dr. Pollock preach. He and his family were truly a blessing to the Bell Shoals family. I miss my days in Florida, especially the Bell Shoals Church family. May God continue to watch over the Pollock family. Dr. Pollock was a wonderful man who is missed even today as I listen to the online sermon at Bell Shoals. My hope is that his family is doing well.

Missing a life long friend, but knowing that you are in the presence of your son and God brings a great peace. See you again some day!

I have been friends with Forrest since fitfth grade and remained friends even unto his untimely death. He loved God with all of his heart even as a child. There were countless times even into high school that he would invite his friends to his church to hear him sing. He had a true love for all. A God like unconditional love. He broke every bearer of race, preps, jocks, nerds, teachers and yes he was even given keys to our high school. He loved all people with his God like unconditional love. He lived Galations 2:20. He was the National And local President of Future Business Leaders of America. His achievements were mammoth however to his, he was just a lowly servant of God. He was alway class presedent, however he was never a leader of men but a follower of Christ. Therein laid he success. I married, we remained friends through collage then he met the love of his life, Dawn. I was thrilled for him! The Lord lead him to leave his successful business in to enter into the ministry. I am saddened by he and his son's short life, but rejoice in knowing that he is wrapped in the hem of Christ garnet. To me he is gone too soon. We wonder why? We must remember that life on earth is like a vapor compaired to eternity and heaven is our home. Forrest, well done, old friend. See you soon! Colossians 1:28-29

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family and friends during this time of sorrow. Please find peace and comfort in Isaiah 65:17,21-24.

My family just became members to this church. I can appreciate all the hard work and dedication the Pollock family put into this church during his time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pollock family.

Thinking of Forrest today. I worked for him at Prestonwood Baptist in 1994. He was action-oriented and driven, and equally creative and inspiring.

Almost 3 years later, my heart is so heavy because of the loss of such a wonderful Child of God. I was drawn to search out stories of him tonight for some reason. A true man of God and a wonderful teacher of the Word. Thank you Lord for sharing him with us.

:) My Daddy was the best in the world... Although life is hard without them, I know where they are, I will be there right with them one day worshiping the Creator. I love you Daddy and Preston!

I have written here before already, but it is almost 3 years since the accident, and for some reason, I was lead here today. I still miss Pastor Pollock as much as I did May 13, 2008 and I still fall apart crying whenever I think of him. He had that kind of smile that just lit up your week every time you saw him. I think about how much he poured into the church and how much he loved the church family and I almost feel sorry that he only spent 3 weeks in the new worship center; but then I remember that he is in Heaven, praising God and His very feet with his son, Preston and our beloved friend Simeon Nix! It's still so hard to cope without him and I don't know if that feeling will ever go away, but I know I will see him again. He lead me to Christ, baptized me, and encouraged me on a day to day basis and I am so grateful to him for that and will never forget that. I continue to pray for the Pollock family because I cannot imagine what they are feeling if I feel this badly. Pastor Forrest Pollock, you live on in our memories, your work in the church, and in the extraordinary lives of your children. I love you and will not forget you. See you in Heaven =)
In Christ Alone (as our beloved pastor used to say with such love and admiration for God),
