Words alone cannot describe the extent to which I miss Dad. I can remember many times when he would tell me stories about the people whom he had met and with great satisfaction he would report that he had led them to the Lord. One his most impressive gifts besides having a heart of gold and ministering to others was his passion for playing music. I have always admired his ability to play almost any style of music and the variety of instruments he played - the guitar was his favorite. Dad also had a lifelong passion for sailing and being on the water. During his younger years, and with great pride I might add, he served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam war. I can still hear him telling us those stories about his time in the Navy and his harrowing tales of life at sea. Admittedly after having heard those stories so many times when I was young there were instances that I would roll my eyes. It is with great earnest that I would give anything to hear him tell those stories once again. I would give anything to tell him one last time that I love him so much. You will be missed terribly and loved always, Dad.
