STICKNEY, Robert L. 87, of Belleair, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and moved to the area in 1977. He was a Veteran of WWII and served with the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific. After his tour of duty, he attended Rutgers University and went on to become President of International Flavors & Fragrances. He was a member of Belleair Country Club and enjoyed golf and travel as well as writing music. Robert was predeceased by his first wife, Lola in 1984; & his son, Kevin in 2006. Robert is survived by his wife, Carole; a son, Jeffrey Stickney of Palm Harbor; a daughter, Kim Stickney Burns & her husband, Jeffrey of Belleair; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Stickney; a brother, Edward Stickney & his wife, Louise of Houston, TX; and their sons, Robert, Brian, and David & their families. Services held 3 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 20th, at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760. www.mossfeasterlargo.com
