GODDARD, Myrtle:
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 7th November 2018, in her 93rd year, surrounded by her loving family. Aunty Myrtle, who was also a mother figure, was loved very dearly by her children Joyce and Colin Oakes (Waitara), John and Lindsay Crothers (Australia), Kevin (dec) and Diane Crothers (Kaponga). She was a loved great, and great-great aunt with grandmother status to all her nieces and nephews, and their families. Grateful thanks to Annie Brydon Lifecare for their wonderful care of Myrtle. A service of commemoration for Myrtle will be held at the Wesley Methodist Church Hawera, on Saturday 10th November 2018 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Myrtle was a lovely lady who was very involved with Wesley Methodist Church in Hawera. Myrtle was a volunteer at the Church Op shop for many years and always on hand at other functions. She was a very good cook and had a great garden. To her family our sympathy in your loss and treasure the memories you have.

To Myrtles family, I am sorry to hear of your loss of a lovely gentle lady. I knew her as a member of the Ahiahi Rural womens evening group for a lot of years. (Now defunct group) We had loads of laughs & she always turned up to the meetings. I often think of her. My condolances to the family.
