Christopher Mark Bennett, 32, passed away unexpectedly at Morton Hospital on Saturday November 18, 2017. Born in Stoughton, MA, Chris was a graduate of Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School and worked as a machinist for M J Machines in Bridgewater, MA. He had a love for skateboarding and a passion for art, and was a talented artist. Chris is survived by his mother, Liisa (Eddy) Bennett of Clinton, MA and her significant other Michael Frates; his father, Mark P. Bennett of Braintree, MA and his companion Cheryl Williams; a daughter Olivia Bennett; a son Christopher Jonathan CJ Bennett; a brother Paul Bennett of Taunton; his grandmother Margret Eddy of Gilford, NH; his fianc, Erin Gibbs; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visiting hours will be Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5-7 pm in the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. Taunton, and a memorial service will be held Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 am in the West Congregational Church, 415 Winthrop Street, Taunton, MA. Chris and I used to hang out together almost every day during high school and for a few years after that, and always stayed in touch. He was truly a great, great friend that would always be there for you. He helped me get through some really hard times in life. It's hard to put in words how much he will be missed.
