I met Jim 40 years ago and I have been friendly with him over the years. He was a great guy and will be missed by all that he came in contact with. Rest in peace.

Jim had an old accordion, a small one, the keys were playing when you opened and closed the bellows. i took it apart and re-positioned the dampers over the reeds properly, realigned the keyboard on the right side so all the keys were the same height. brought it back to his house he said, "what do i owe you?" well, put a loaf of raisin bread put aside for us cafeteria workers so we can enjoy it with our breakfast. he said, "consider it done". next day at first break he brought up the loaf of raisin bread, sliced and a special pastry spread he whipped up of consisting of cinnamon, sugar and softened margarine. boy, was that good!

My prayers are with all of you during this sad time. May all your memories comfort you.
