I never knew you but your story has touched me as I'm doing research on what makes a true hero. May you rest in peace and your memory live on forever, sweet girl.

To the Gordon Family. My name is Jim Vanderbleek and I live in St. Pete. I went to St. Pete High. I wanted to find a way to honor our military families that have given thier all. Your daughters Fallen Floridian Cross will be set up this Memorial 2013 in Oviedo, Florida. The photo attached is a small example of the tribute honoring our Fallen Floridians.

God Bless you and your family.

Hello, I heard her Dad on NPR, I was so touched.
She sounds likes very special, brave, and unique woman. I want the family to know there are no words to say how much I along with many many others appreciate our freedom, and we will not forget it cost you your daughter as she layed down her life for us. Thank You and God Bless You. I pray you can find peace knowing you will see her again. Loretta O.Washington State
