Want to send my condolences to the Gordon family, I would not be able to grip this if it was my child, but I pray that the lord wrap his arms around your family and you find comfort in knowing that she died doing what she loved and she is in a better place. God Bless you all.

I placed a small flag at the right side of the grave today of a beautiful hero. I was not able to attend the service, wake, or procession...but I made it a point to visit the resting site alone...I am Iraq vet, so it helped me to just be alone with your daughter and let her know how proud we all are of her..I must say, leaving the cemetary today I was filled with ANGER, but I know she is in spirit with us all...To the parents continue to take care of yourselves and EACH OTHER, be there for each other in times of comfort-your daughter is OUR hero and your LEGACY..BE PROUD and Carry ON............Nichelle Young Sgt(Retired US ARMY)

We participated in the service at the cemetary for Brittany today, Oct. 27th, and even though we did not know her personally, her ultimate sacrifice will not be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort you in the days ahead.

Dear Brittany Gordon family, Although I don't know you'll I've been following your daughters death since it was announced. I'm retired military myself and have two sons that currently serve, so this hit close to home. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. Be very proud of your daughter because the path she chose is a very honorable path and know that she died for others. Again, my heart and prayers are with you during this painful loss.....SMSgt (retired) BeLinda Buford

Dear Brenda and family, I remember Brittany as such a lovely child at Canterbury. I regret I did not have a chance to know her as a young woman but I can see she steadfastly fed that special spark within her and grew into an amazing young woman full of courage and determination. My daughters and I mourn with you and your family, and all those who were touched by her life. We pray for peace and healing as you journey through the valley of grief. We hold Brittany's memory close and will never forget her sacrifice.
With sadness,
Liz, Alyson, Emma & Hannah Gordon
