My condolences to Sandy MacKinnon and family. Didn't know her personally; but I do know Sandy MacKinnon. I worked for this great man and my prayers are with the family. May God Bless you all.

I had the honor and privilege of meeting and working closely with Dottie when she served on the Hillsborough County Commission. At the time, I represented the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. You always knew where Dottie stood on an issue and that made a difficult job a little easier.

She left political office behind and started creating an even more important legacy. Creating programs and services for disadvantaged children was her mission. From reading some of the entries in the guest book, the appreciation expressed by some of the children that have benefited from Dottie's work is clear evidence of her effectiveness. Despite her illness, she continued on with her mission as best she could.

The product of her tireless work will always be felt by those whose life she touched. She left an obvious footprint on Hillsborough County in many ways.

My condolences to Sandy and their family. May she rest in peace and may God's light shine on her forever.

May her memory be eternal.

My prayers are with her family, losing someone who is so loved is such a devastating time to get through. I've known her and the family for over 15 years and she was a very loving and thoughtful person but her memory will go on with all the great work she has done for children. May you rest in God's arms in loving peace.
