I can STILL heart that sweet voice reminding me every Sunday on my way in from the parking lot, that the chruch has over 3000 custodians & grounds keepers so lets keep the LORDS house clean. Pastor Forrest Pollock will ALWAYS be in my heart & his words in my ear. What a TRUE teacher of the word. You are missed by many, but Never forgotten. You have made me a better man.

Even today, my soul is sad and miss him. He taught me about joy which will keep his spirit with me for the rest of my life.

Tomorrow is the day that the new pastor starts. Tomorrow is the transitioning from what was to what is. For everyone who attends Bell Shoals, please don't forget what was and open your hearts to be receptive of what is. It still does hurt, however God has a plan for everything that happens, and He has blessed us with peace knowing that his two children who very eagerly wanted to spend time with their father will be smiling while the next chapter of our church unfolds. A wonderful man and devoted son became brothers and met their father on May 13, 2008. This is no tragedy. So instead of viewing tomorrow as a day that Forrest Pollock was replaced. Those still in pain should view it as a day that the Lord sent another faithful servant to lead us. Psalm 46:1 says, "The LORD is our refuge and shelter. An ever-present help in time of need." We're in the best hands over. I'm certain Forrest Pollock is happy with how far we've come already. He is with us. God is with us. God bless all of you.

Forrest was truly imbued with the Holy Spirit. I wish I was like him in his zeal for God. An inspiration to all, and a fine man.

I am so sorry for your loss. The impact Pastor Pollock had on me cannot be expressed in words, and I'm sure it's that way for many. Brooke, as your friend, I especially want to pray for you. I cannot express to you what you or your father have meant in my life. I will never forget you or your family. I look forward to seeing your daddy and Preston in Heaven someday. It cheers me to know that that is what he was longing for and to know that he is safe and happy with the Lord.
"There is no greater honor than to bow and kneel before Your throne."
In Christ Alone (as your daddy used to say =)),

I just heard about the passing of Forrest and his son and am deeply saddened. I knew (Geno at the time) from Jefferson Middle School and Jefferson Hieghts Baptist Church. I know he touched many lives in a positive way. My sympathy to the Family and I pray for your continued healing.

My heart felt condolences go to the Pollock Family today. I just found out so many months since his passing. I went to school with Pastor Pollack at U.S. Grant in OKC. Although he was 2 years behind me I shared some fun time with him in Drama. He was a very dynamic individual and a lot of fun to be around.
The Lord took me and my life far away from Oklahoma City, but my heart still longs for that place much of the time. It is so good to see that after so many years, the Lord used Gene(that's what we called him) in such a powerful and prolific way.
I know that as he entered the Lord's presence on that day, we could all echo the words that Gene heard from our Lord...."Well done good and faithful servant!"

Dear Dawn and children, This morning Ken and I spent the morning worshipping at Friendly Avenue Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. This precious church family has been praying for you, the children and the Bell Shoals family. They are continuing to lift everyone up to God. Remember, even still the people are praying for all of you. We miss you and pray for you peace and grace. In Christian love, Ken & Trish Stover

Hi Mrs. Dawn and kids!

I just want to say that I miss Pastor and Preston SO much! It is almost a year since I read and got the message that Pastor and Preston had gone to see our great and mighty God. I just start thinking that they are in a better place. Pastor and Preston are probably having a blast in God's Kingdom.
Just know that I am praying for you and that they are looking down at us all.

In Christ,
Heather
