My friend. I'm so very happy to have known you. Our front-lawn chats and neighborly banter were always good for me, as was your constant smile. Thank you for all the love, courage, and grace you've shown us. I will miss you dearly. So long friend... and keep smiling.

I watched David on KING-TV while growing up in Seattle. I remember him as a kind person with a passion for weather. Moreover, KING had a one hour newscast at the time. David was supposed to tease his weather forecast during the first half hour. He would start talking about the weather and would almost give away the entire forecast during the tease! He will be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of my friend from years ago. I will always have fond memories of playing tennis with David against Barney and John at the courts just off Fletcher Ave. R.I.P my old friend and thank you for all you did for our community and for all the good times we had on the courts.

I was shocked to hear of David's passing. He was a great meteorologist with Channel 8. I grew up watching the weather with him in Tampa. My sympathy to his family and friends. Kathy Benjamin

David was always smiling and had such a wonderful personality. I was fortunate to meet him while he was still weatherman on Channel 8. he was such a sweet guy and his relationship with his wife was so awesome to see. You will be missed, Rest in peace!

I will miss seeing him at the post office on Stall Road...he always had a kind word of the day to say when asked "David, how is the weather today"...sweet kind person, such a treasure...adios

David Grant was a very special person and slways had a great story to tell. He found the perfect wife in Beverly and together they were a joy to be around. I will miss David's smile but have comfort in knowing he is in a better place now and at peace. Beverly, you were his rock and made his life special and full of joy. I'm sorry for your lost. I only met him a few times when we would come into the lighting store when I worked there for 11years .David was very pleasant man he will be missed. RIP

David was always willing to extend his wealth of weather information to the next generation and was grateful for the opportunity to bringing my science students to the weather center back in the 1970's. He will be missed.

David was trustworthy, sincere and the kind of weatherman who you knew had done his homework. He was on Channel 8 with some of their greats - Bob Hite, Gayle Sierens and John Winter. I haven't lived in Tampa in 15 years, but I remember how much I enjoyed David on the news when I was growing up. Thank you for your service to your community.
